Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) of Bangladesh Bank has asked the banks to seek information on all accounts of former speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury.
A letter was issued in this regard on Thursday.
The letter of the anti-money laundering agency also directed the banks to inquire about the accounts of four of her family members, including her spouse, son, and daughter.
