Bangladesh was all out for 262 runs in their first innings, trailing Pakistan's total of 274. Litton Das played a pivotal role, scoring 138 runs off 228 balls, which included four sixes and 13 fours. After Litton’s dismissal, Bangladesh's innings lasted just two more balls, ending with Nahid Rana being dismissed LBW by Agha Salman.

When Litton Das came to bat, Bangladesh was in a precarious position at 26 runs for the loss of 5 wickets. The situation worsened with the loss of Shakib Al Hasan in the next over, keeping the score at 26. However, Litton, in partnership with Mehidy Hasan Miraz, built a crucial 165-run stand for the seventh wicket. This partnership is now the second-highest seventh-wicket partnership in Bangladesh’s Test history, helping stabilize the innings.

Litton’s innings marked his fourth Test century and demonstrated his ability to perform under pressure, making a significant impact on Bangladesh’s total.
