Home Affairs Adviser Jahangir Alam Chowdhury assured that the interim government is providing all necessary support for those injured in the recent protests, following his visit to the hospital where he met with patients, their families, and hospital staff

The interim government is taking all necessary measures to assist those injured in the recent student-led uprising, said Home Affairs Adviser Jahangir Alam Chowdhury.

"The government is doing everything necessary for those who were injured during the protests," he said after visiting the hospitals to assess the condition of those injured during the protests on Tuesday (20 August).

During his visit, Chowdhury urged the public not to crowd the hospital to see the injured.

In addition to speaking with the patients, Chowdhury also engaged in discussions with their family members.

He further held talks with the hospital director, addressing various issues.

Doctors briefed the home affairs adviser on the latest conditions of the patients.
