Chief Justice Obaidul Hassan has decided to suspend all judicial proceedings in both divisions of the Supreme Court.
The chief justice took the decision after consultations with President Mohammed Sahabuddin, according to a press release signed by Md Shafiqul Islam, public relations officer of the Supreme Court's Appellate Division.
This suspension will remain in effect until further notice, the release added.
