The government has made major changes in the rankings of Bangladesh Police, with 25 top officials, including Deputy Inspector Generals (DIG), police commissioners, and superintendents of police, being transferred or promoted.
The Public Security Division issued two separate notifications on Sunday (June 23) regarding these changes in the police force.
The reshuffle involves seven Deputy Inspector Generals of Police, one additional Inspector General of Police (Supernumerary), one police commissioner, one additional police commissioner, and 15 superintendents of police.
