Three people have been killed in a collision between a motorcycle and a battery-powered van in the Shivbati area of Paikgacha upazila, Khulna.
The accident occurred at around 10am on Wednesday (5 June).
Obaidur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge of Paikgacha Police Station, said the collision took place near the Shivbati Bridge in the morning. The van driver, Ismail Hossain, and both the motorcycle driver and a passenger were killed on the spot. The identities of the two individuals on the motorcycle have not yet been determined.
He added that the motorcycle and van involved in the accident have been seized. The bodies of the deceased will be sent to Khulna Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
