Operations against the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (Arsa), said the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB).
“We carry out operations after receiving any information about Arsa,” RAB Media and Legal Wing Director Commander Arafat Islam said during a press briefing in Dhaka on Friday (17 May).
“One of the biggest threats in the Rohingya camps is Arsa. This group has been involved in various crimes including killings and kidnappings,” he added.
RAB has conducted various operations, arrested many Arsa members and recovered huge amount of explosives and weapons from them over time, the official said.
