Four pedestrians, including two women and two children, were killed when a bus struck them on the Dhaka-Chattogram highway in Cumilla’s Daudkandi on Monday (22 April) evening.
"They were hit by the bus at around 8pm while crossing the road nearby the Raipur Malikhil area" said Shahinul Alam, the officer-in-charge of Daudkandi Highway Police.
He confirmed that all four died instantly at the scene. The bus involved is believed to belong to Ekushey Transport.
