The new air-conditioned (AC) bus service of the Bus Rapid Transit line will launch an expanded route today, connecting Gulistan Zero Point to Shibpur-Gazipur via the Elevated Expressway.
The updated service will include key stops at Gulistan, Shahbagh, Farmgate, Airport, College Gate, Board Bazar, Bhogra, and Shibbari, according to a press release from the Bangladesh Road Transpor
The AC bus service was initially launched on December 1, offering routes from the Airport to Shibpur, Gazipur. This expansion aims to provide a faster, more comfortable public transit option for commuters navigating the heavily congested areas of Dhaka and Gazipur.
