A total of 2,497 candidates have passed as the final results of the first phase of the primary school teacher recruitment test were published on Tuesday (27 February).
“Based on the written and oral examination results of the first phase (Barisal, Sylhet, and Rangpur Division) of 'Assistant Teacher Recruitment-2023,' 2,497 applicants have been selected primarily for the post of assistant teacher in government primary schools,” said Ministry of Primary and Mass Education in a notification.
The results have also been made available on the websites of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education and the Directorate of Primary Education.
The candidates who passed the exam will receive SMS notifications on their phones.
On 8 December, the examination for the post of assistant teacher took place in 18 districts of Rangpur, Barisal, and Sylhet divisions.
A total of 3,60,697 candidates participated in the tests.
Subsequently, 9,337 applicants qualified for the test and proceeded to the oral examination.
