The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the e-commerce company Evaly Mohammad Rassel announced that the company will initiate the process of refunding money that is currently stuck in payment gateways.
Evaly will begin repaying all outstanding debts, including checks, starting from May, Mohammad Rassel stated in a press briefing held on an online platform on Saturday.
Rassel said, “Evaly has received an overwhelming response from customers and merchants since since the first day of resuming operations. We have processed over 2 lakhs of product against 80 thousand orders in the first campaign on flying return. We will refund the customer's money in the gateway this month and will start paying off all old debts including checks from next May with the profit money.”
“ All customers will be paid the principal amount as per the order,” he said.
The CEO assured that all customers will receive their principal amount in stages according to the order. Additionally, he mentioned that customers will soon be able to access their old data.
Rassel further stated that Evaly has prioritized cash-on-delivery to maintain ongoing trust with its customers.
"Previously, customers paid Evaly directly before receiving the product. However, with the cash-on-delivery method, there is no risk for the customer. The price paid by the customer goes directly to the seller, eliminating any residual risk for the seller as well," he explained.
"Customers receive the product first and then make the payment. Evaly only handles order placement, ensuring quick and transparent product delivery to the customer," Rassel added.
