JCI holds annual carnival

Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bangladesh hosted its annual event, the JCI Carnival, combining the vibrant spirit of youth with the essence of tradition, aiming to transform young minds into powerful change agents of society.

The executive committee for 2024 also assumed charge during the program.

This grand event, held at Greenville Outdoor in Dhaka on January 27, 2024, unfolded as a day-long celebration that brought together approximately 6,000 members and guests, reads a press release.

It served as a platform for members, their families, and friends to connect, indulge in a traditional Mezban meal, and experience Bangladesh's rich traditions, culture, and networking opportunities for social change.

JCI Bangladesh National President Imran Kadir presided over the event, while Treasurer Kazi Fahad served as the event director, and Secretary-General Fahim Ahmed served as the co-convener.

Imran Kadir said, "JCI Bangladesh is on a mission to enhance its brand, aspiring to become the leading network for young, active citizens. Through impactful activities focused on leadership development and community engagement, the organization aims to inspire and empower young people to be agents of positive change."

The event commenced with numerous activities, including networking sessions, a kid’s carnival, a captivating puppet show, and the delightful Pitha Uthshob.

The pinnacle of the event was the inauguration ceremony of the 2024 National Committee, where each member of the National Executive Committee was introduced in a grand ceremony.

The event had Toggi Fun World as the associate partner and Jamuna Electronics & Automobiles Limited, along with Kazi Printing Accessories Limited, as Gold Partners.

Niaz Morshed Elite, founder and general secretary of the JCI Bangladesh Foundation, congratulated the organization on its growth and success. 

Founded in 1915, JCI is a global force for young individuals aged 18 to 40, spanning approximately 124 countries.
