Now, with the funding support of Start Fund Bangladesh, COAST has been distributing Aaman seedlings as a rehabilitation program for farmers to ensure food security in the upcoming days. 100 acres of land is expected to produce around 2 metric tons of rice.
The Aaman seedlings today are distributed among 140 farmers of Valukia, Maizbaria, Laxmipur, Alokdia and Goarua villages in the presence of Union Deputy Assistant Agriculture Officer Abu Taib and Mumtaz Begum.
