488 policemen to receive IGP Badge for outstanding service

A total of 488 police officers and personnel will be recognised with the "IGP's Exemplary Good Services Badge" for their commendable work and dedication to their professional duties.

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun will bestow the second-highest police award upon the recipients during this year's Police Week at the parade ground of Rajarbagh Police Lines in the capital on Wednesday (28 February), reads a notice issued by Additional DIG (Confidential) AFM Anjuman Kamal yesterday.

According to sources from police headquarters, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate Police Week-2024 with the annual police parade at Rajarbagh Police Lines ground at 10am on Tuesday (27 February).

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, Bangladesh Inspector General of Police (IGP) Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun, and other senior police officials will be in attendance at the event.
