The announcement came following an exchange meeting of BTRC Chairman Mohiuddin Ahmed with the media on Monday (19 February).
This was the first time the new BTRC chairman spoke to the media after taking charge in December last year.

“There will also be some changes in bandwidth prices. Data package prices will be revised accordingly. The current data packages will be reviewed,” he added.
“We will sit down with the operators to discuss the complaints against them and try to provide quality service by eliminating the problems,” the BTRC official further said.
The 3-day and 15-day internet packages offered by the mobile operators have been cancelled from 15 October last year.
After analysing data from March and April last year, BTRC ordered to discontinuation of the 3-day internet package.
It also gave instructions to offer 7-day internet package at the price of 3-day package.
