The 20th Language Fiesta-2024, organised by the Josephite Language and Reading Club (JLRC) of the St Joseph Higher Secondary School will begin on 15 February.
Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof ASM Maksud Kamal will inaugurate the function as chief guest, reads a press release.
Former Governor of Bangladesh Bank Dr Atiur Rahman will address the event as chief guest while Managing Director of Pubali Bank Mohammad Ali will attend the programme as special guest on the concluding day.
Vice-President of JLRC Faiq Abrar Kamal said, More than three thousand students from different educational institutions will take part at various events including spelling B, Lexical Dismantling, Linguistic Spirit, Tetrathlon, Catch-22, Treasure Hunt, Language Championship and Quiz.
The three-day long event will conclude on 17 February.
