People with disabilities are more attentive and responsible in the workplace than healthy and normal youths, State Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak said today (10 February).
He said the disabled are our brothers and sisters and they should be given opportunities.
He also said that disabled people will be ahead of others with their hard work, talent and responsibility.
Zunaid Ahmed Palak said this in the job fair organised by Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) of ICT Division in the capital Dhaka.
With the aim of providing employment to specially-abled persons or for the person with disabilities, BCC has been organising the fair since 2015.
The Centre for Services and Information on Disability (CSID) and NGO Affairs Bureau of the Prime Minister's Office collaborated with the BCC in hosting the fair.
On Saturday, the opening ceremony of the fair was organised at the office building of the NGO Affairs Bureau in Agargaon, Dhaka.
