Prime Minister, also the president of ruling Awami League, Sheikh Hasina will address her last public rally as part of her election campaign in Narayanganj today.
After a decade, she is returning to Narayanganj for an election campaign. The rally is scheduled to begin at 2:30 pm at the AKM Shamsuzzoha Sports Complex ground in Isdair within the city.
Law enforcement agencies and the administration have deployed four-tier security measures centring the public meeting. They are working at the field level to ensure round-the-clock security.
Narayanganj-4 constituency lawmaker and Awami League candidate for the 12th parliamentary election, AKM Shamim Osman, along with leaders and workers of Narayanganj district and metropolitan Awami League and its associate bodies, have made elaborate preparations for the arrival of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in Narayanganj.
Leaders, activists, and supporters are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Sheikh Hasina in their locality.
To ensure the success of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's election rally, MP Shamim Osman has visited various places across the district with the leaders and activists of Narayanganj Awami League and its associate organizations for several days. He has conducted preparatory meetings, view-exchange sessions, and discussions with all relevant parties.
Besides, welcoming the arrival of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, several arches have been built on the road from the signboard to Chashara on Dhaka-Narayanganj Link Road. Billboards and banner festoons have been installed. Portraits of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina are being displayed at different places on the Dhaka-Narayanganj link road and the Narayanganj-Fatullah-Dhaka road.
