Light rain or drizzle is expected to occur at one or two places in Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, and Chattogram divisions, as per a Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) bulletin issued for the 24 hours commencing at 9 am today.
The bulletin states, "Weather may remain mainly dry with a partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country. Moderate to thick fog may occur over the country from midnight to morning, and it may persist until noon at some places."
The BMD also forecasts that air navigation, inland river transport, and road communication may be disrupted due to thick fog.
A mild cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions and the districts of Kishoregonj and Chuadanga, and it may abate in some places, according to the BDM bulletin.
Regarding the temperature, the BDM forecast data shows that night temperatures may rise slightly, and day temperatures may fall slightly over the country.
