BNP leader Amir Khasru denied bail in case over attack on CJ's residence

A Dhaka court denied bail to BNP Standing Committee Member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury today in a case filed over the October 28 attack on the chief justice's residence.

However, he was granted bail in a case filed with Paltan Police Station in Dhaka today.

The court of Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Tofazzal Hossain passed the order on Wednesday, January 24.

Amir Khasru has been granted bail in nine out of the ten cases filed against him so far, his lawyer lawyer Syed Jainul Abedin Mesbah told media.

The BNP leader was arrested on November 2 last year in a case related to the killing of a police constable.
