A total of 53 senior police officers have been transferred, including 19 Additional DIGs, 33 Superintendents of Police (SPs), and one Additional SP.
The Ministry of Home Affairs' Public Security Division (Police-1 Branch) issued separate notifications regarding these transfers on Thursday (27 February).
According to the official gazette, the transfers were made by order of the President. The notifications were signed by Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs Md Mahbubur Rahman.
