Breaking the padlock after 75 days, BNP leaders and supporters entered their Nayapaltan party office, which had been sealed following a clash with the police.

BNP’s Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, along with a group of leaders and activists, broke the padlock on the main gate and entered the office around 10:45 am.

The party office had remained locked since 28 October, when a mass rally organized by BNP was foiled by a clash with the police.

BNP is scheduled to conduct a press conference at the Nayapaltan office at 3 pm today. Its standing committee members Dr. Abdul Moin Khan and Selima Rahman will be present at the conference, stated a press release issued by BNP.
