Former Bangladesh Association of Banks (BAB) chairman Nazrul Islam Mazumder has been arrested from Dhaka on Tuesday (1 October) night.
Rezaul Karim Mallick, additional commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police's Detective Branch, said police arrested Nazrul Islam from the city.
Former chairman of Exim BankNazrul is the chairman and founder of Nassa Group.
He led the BAB for nearly 17 years during the Awami League-led government since 2008.
