Three dengue patients died and 829 were hospitalised across the country in the last 24 hours until Thursday (26 September), according to a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The total number of deaths from dengue this year has reached 141, the statement added.
So far this year, 27,384 dengue cases have been reported, compared to 321,179 cases last year. In 2023, the country recorded 1,705 dengue-related deaths.
