The President's Office has issued a notification regarding the appointment of 7 new state ministers in the cabinet.
Cabinet Secretary Md Mahbub Hossain issued this notification by order of the President Mohammed Shahbuddin on Friday (1 March).
The newly appointed Ministers of State in the Cabinet are: Md Shahiduzzaman Sarkar, Md Abdul Wadud, Md Nazrul Islam Chowdhury, Begum Rokeya Sultana, Begum Shamsun Nahar, Wasika Ayesha Khan and Begum Nahid Izahar Khan.
The swearing-in of the new cabinet members will be held on Friday evening.
Awami League formed the government for the fourth time in a row under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina on 11 January after winning the 12th national election held on 7 January.
On that day, 37 ministers and state ministers took oath, including the prime Mmnister.
