Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested former industries minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun from the city's Gulshan area on Wednesday morning.
RAB's legal and media wing director Lt. Col. Munim Ferdous told the media that a team of RAB arrested former lawmaker Mazid from Gulshan in Dhaka on Wednesday (25 September) morning.
He said that the arrest was made in the case of assault and murder on students during the anti-discrimination student movement in Madhabdi area of Narsingdi on 4 August 4.
Legal action is underway against him, the RAB official added.
