Former State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Mahbub Ali has been arrested from Segunbagicha in the capital on Sunday night.
Additional Commissioner of Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Rezaul Karim Mallik confirmed the matter of arrest.
Mahbub Ali was arrested in a case filed with Jatrabari police station, said the DB official, adding that he will be sent to court from DB custody on Monday.
